What to Expect

"Parenting In OZ!" uses the colorful imagery of the Wizard of Oz to help parents visualize the ever-present fears that are at the core of childhood trauma. This 2-part training will provide the tools needed to understand the trauma that sometimes underlies the children's difficult behaviors. It will present an alternative parenting paradigm, a different way to view and understand the challenging behaviors caregivers face every day. When the underlying stress and trauma in our children are addressed, their behaviors will change, and they have the opportunity to heal.
